Under a lonley star

Greetings from McAllen, Texas.
I am presently 15 minutes away from Mexico.
Exciting, because I've never been to Mexico.
Europe, check. Africa, yes.
Mexico, not so much. Nor Canada.
I suppose I like to travel far from home.
